I own several Case folding knives, and every one I have is a well made, smooth and solid knife...The Trapperlock is the smoothest and most easily opened one hander I have had, and I'm 69 years old and carried a pocket knife since late grade school... Great to handle, great to look at...a LITTLE to thin to be 100% comfortable in my hand (personal)....but it became my favorite...I just ordered a second one today.

This knife has proven it's self time and time again in heavy daily carry. I've owned and used one almost daily for well over a yr. I bought for less than many name brand Chinese line of knifes. This knife out does them all in fit finish and materials used in it and it's USA made.
The ergonomics are spot on and fit my hand perfectly.Made from 14c28mn stainless is another plus. I rank it over 8A, vg-10 any day of the week in its being one of the very best general purpose steel ever made.Never had it chip, stain or rust and easily can be sharpened to mirror edge perfection.
If you're looking for a excellent EDC buy one of these you would be disappointed at all I think.

This is an extremely useful rescue knife that I keep on me at all times when out in the wilderness. The blunt tip is perfect as it doesn't compromise cutting edge. The straight edge is awesome as well as it makes cutting predictable and slip free. The blade is mostly serrated, which is what I'd want in a rescue knife...great for cutting clothes, straps, ropes, etc. Visible orange FRN, lockback, spyderhole deployment and VG-10 are all great. Another feature that's interesting (although admittedly I don't use it all too often) are the finger grooves on the spine of the blade which allows you to squeeze the handle and the blade together to cut rope. Overall top notch for a rescue knife and the price is right for a VG-10 knife.

this knife was bought as my entry into the "high end" folder market, and as such i wanted a knife that could fit into any roll well (assuming that the trade-off would be that it is a master of none) however i was surprised to see that a moderately sized folder could be this light, strong, comfortable and good looking. it is light, so light i don't feel it in my pocket but it has just enough body mass to remind you its still there the blade of nearly 3.5 inches is perfect for any task i set out to do (as a EDC user) and its most important job as a toy to play with is done very well (over a year in my pocket and i still love playing with it) it is extremely well balanced and i would not hesitate to buy another. also the compression lock is a welcome depart from all the frame/liner locks out there and is lefty friendly (if you are a lefty like me, look no further) all in all i would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality, versatile folder in the $100-$150 range, you wont regret it
