Comments:
The Cara Cara is a stainless steel handled, 8cr13mov bladed workhorse. The handle designed in such a way as to allow multiple grasps that are comfortable. The blade design is visually unusual but cuts very very well. I have had no issue with the blade staying sharp. I use the knife for light and at worst moderate cutting jobs and the edge has held up very well. When it did begin to dull, it only took a few swipes on a moonstone followed by a ceramic stick to return it to shaving sharp. My concerns are a slight patina forming on the blade (not a big deal), and I am concerned that the handle could become very slippery if it became wet. For the money (I paid $20.00 US) it is a great knife with many positive features. I would and have recommended this knife for a good large folder.
