The Mini AK-47 is a big let down.

GOOD-the lockback design is very strong and the blade design is perfect for edc use. That is where the positives end.

BAD-the thumb plate makes it hard to deploy the blade, the pocket clip makes the knife ride high in the pocket, and the handle is too small and not ergonomic for my large size hands. The Mini Recon 1 is a much better option for this size blade.

I am extremely impressed by this blade. (I have the mini) and it is a great EDC knife; small and light enough for your pocket, but strong enough for any use. The G-10 handle offers great purchase and the ergonomics are outstanding. The only reason it didn't get a 10 out of 10 in the overall score is that it does not have liners, just the G-10...great for weight, but I do question longterm durability.

As with any Cold Steel knife, it has great quality of materials and it is shaving sharp out of the box.
