I see a lot of comments that this knife is not suitable for EDC - boolshit - I confirm, the knife fits extremely well in the standard pants pocket! Yes, it's big, but doesn't weigh too much - only a few grams. So I don't see problems with the size - bigger is always better!
The opening can be fast, with a little training with thumb or wave. The handle is very well shaped, so the knife can be used for any task - from stabbing and slashing to fine cutting.
Referring to rust - yes, the AUS8 steel gets rust, but in every supermarket you can by a wet cloth for cleaning off silver kitchen utensils - perfect results!
In conclusion - if you want to have a really good and reliable knife for any situation - get one of these!

this is an awesome knife!!!!!! the blade is a kukri shape with a razor sharp edge like all cold steel knives. it is around a six inch blade so its not really an edc. it is a AUS8 steel blade. i have a problem with AUS8 steel blades. i carry them and they rust right away. just tiny little dots that form. i still love the knife anyways you can always fix rust spots. it is a thick blade to the spine is about five mm. it is a filler blade minus my rust i get on em. it could be me and no one else i dont know. the pivot joint of the knife is super tight. there is no play when locked out. the lock is a super good lock it will never fold up on you unless you do something unthinkable to to it. its a lock back knife. the handle is really nice. steel lined, aluminum back spacer, and grivory handle. its got some texture to it but its not super crazy grippy. it is a closed handle design. its a long handle so you can grip it in four places and then reverse in four ways. this knife is like a pocket machete and is perfect for hard outdoor use. i would recommend for collector, outdoor use, maybe tactical. great buy.

There aren't enough adjectives to praise this super knife. Unlike many reviewers, I find the Rajah 2 to be VERY comfortable in the pocket. In self defense, it would be best used to "hack" the bad guy's arms - especially the forearms and wrist/hand targets. The attack is OVER!
