Comments:
I bought several of these in an auction (can't remember what I paid exactly), but they are beasts. I've given all away as gifts except one I've kept for myself. This knife is one of the best bangs for your buck in a US made big blade at street prices I've seen. It has tremendous chopping power, and interesting blade geometry overall (you might wish to refine or even reprofile the edge)and is tough as nails!
As a thrower it showed no signs of damage after repeated power throws from a good distance (I know this is not its intended purpose, but it sure was fun), with the tip showing no damage or blunting. Factory edge was rough but functional, and showed great edge-holding. Sheath is kind of low quality but so far has held up and serves its purpose. Rating I gave it is based on its street price.
