Finish on the two Schrade Extreme Survival knives I own have started to rub off after less than a month of ownership. My suggestion is to look at some other brand for a reasonable priced knife.

Received a Schrade folder for Christmas 2013. Nice knife but within one week the anodized finish on part of the handle had started to rub off in select spots.

Like a fool, I purchased another Schrade Extreme Survival model SC60BS at a gun show today. Within 4 hours of ownership the finish on this one had started to rub off as well! The finish rubbing off once could have been a fluke; having it happen twice means it's crap in my view. My suggestion: Don't buy a Schrade!
