I work in hotels where I can't freak out a client by pulling out some giant flicker. The Sage 4 is the perfect balance of elegance, function, and super sharp-ness that I was looking for. The typical Spyderco open assist hole took some getting used to, but ultimately I find that I really appreciate the absence of a big stud on either side of the blade. My only other minor issue is with the style of the clip. It is very easy to pocket because of its design, but it seems to catch on stuff a little easier than I would like. Looks wise, it's them prettiest knife I've ever owned by far. Super good construction, The blade holds an edge wonderfully, and when sharp can really do some damage. I love this knife.

Fabulous and classy EDC for the style conscious, and a great "Gentleman's folder" for big men (I'm 6'4" with large hands).
