If your looking for a simple, strong knife this fits the bill. The handle is made from one piece of folded steel which makes it exceptionally strong although a bit slippery when wet. The shape of the handle is well thought out. you can hold it in 3 different ways very easily. towards the back for chopping, the middle for just about everything, and even right up next to the blade for finer work.

I will go ahead and say that it is a very large knife. at 10 1/4" its a little larger than your average pocket knife but I have found that it still fits easily in the pocket despite the size.

The other issue I read about while researching it is that its hard to open. This is very true. It is incredibly difficult to open one handed but for me this is not a serious issue. To me it just makes the knife feel that much more solid. But if being able to flip a knife open quickly is important to you I suggest you pass over this one.

The blade came out of the box razor sharp and it has stayed that way even through some wood carving and general outdoor use.

The bottom line is that this is a super solid knife with a simple design and strong lock. If your looking for a small knife thats easy to open this is not the one for you, but if you want a big strong knife you can count on, the pocket bushman is a great buy.

to me this knife is a perfect 10, laser sharp out of the box, many choices for blade steel and handle color, small enough to go on your keys and large enough to tackle many cutting tasks. i highly recommend this blade.

I bought the OHT approximately fours months ago. A local chain store was closing them out and the price was too good to pass up. I didn't like serrated blades (still don't as a general rule) but Victorinos did this one right.

The OH feature is handy and this thing has become my all-round yard/garden knife. I also take it on canoe trips.

I purchased mine on e-bay (lightly used ) and it's a big chunky knife at 6.8 oz.it's almost too big for a everyday carry. The blade shape is great and we all know that the "bevelled " thumb hole should not have been "bevelled despite how good it looks and the craftsmanship is typical top quality Benchmade . I am trying to sell it because it's too big for me , I should have gotten the 635 ! Fortunately I have a bunch and if I get stuck with it , it looks cool and is constructed with very good materials. My gripe lies with the "rainbow" colored accents on the handle , sorta doesn't go with the knife if ya know what I mean . The photo on e-bay made it look like a black handle and silver accents . "live and learn" If I ever hook-up with an Amaznian ,I will give it to her on her birthday !

A bit small despite a good sized blade and a good weight, very nice looking and smooth action. The grips on the back are in unlikely locations (where your fingers are not) Very sharp edge and great materials."beautifully small".

This knife is another great build from spyderco! I purchased the forest green version, which goes very well with the standard acu, in a spyderedge. This is my first spyderedge I've ever purchased and I have to say that I really and truely think that it's just as functional, if not more so, than a plainedge blade. I love the small size of this knife. When I first looked at it I was very skeptical of such a small blade being comfortable and fun to use, but the way spyderco molds the handle, the knife fits very well with a three fingered grip. The blade came razor sharp from the factory, and as it's vg-10 I don't expect any problems with edge retention or durability. For an everyday carry knife, this is one of the smallest but most useful you can get.

I have been collecting knives for some time now, and nothing beats the feel of a Sebenza. The blades are super sharp, and they are built tough. My biggest peeve in knives is blade wobble. What I love about the Sebenza is the Solid Lock-up and it's allways centered and secure. No fiddling with the pivot crew to get it to open smoother, or avoid blade wobble. My only complaint would be some of them are so nice, you don't want to use them. :)

Comments:

The Makora II is the longest current production OTF by Microtech, yet it is surprisingly light.

I have the double plain edge model in S30V with carbon fiber inlays, made in late 2009.

The factory edge came shaving sharp and holds an edge well.

The knife fires hard while deploying and I've only experienced 1-2 misfires out of the hundreds of times I've cycled it.

However, though the handle is relatively slim, it still has a boxy feel to it - though this is unavoidable in many OTF designs.

In addition, when I first received the knife, the switch was extremely difficult to fire. Formed and tore a blister on my thumb in doing so.

The included buckle sheath is adjustable, but it does not feel entirely secure when carrying the knife with the opening/tip down. This is because the top flap of the sheath must rest against the glassbreaker, which does not form an even surface. I've noticed that even when the sheath flap is tightened, the glassbreaker can still shift and in some instances, poke out of the sheath. Losing a 400$ knife to that fault would not be a favorable outcome.

The friction of the firing switch will also wear the anodizing in the channel in which it is housed. The DLC finish on the blade has held up well, although it has a tendency to collect metal residues when it comes into contact with any components from regular friction or a misfire.

This is a nice little folder that gives your the thin blade tech design for a steal. You can get them for about 20 USD (Excl. shipping) without searching. It came sharp out of the box, nice finish and discernable fault.

The steel is average but frankly for the price I wouldn't expect more. It is a bit on the small side, difficult to open one handed if you have big paws, doesn't flick either. It is though the perfect little edc for your average daily use. Too small for real outdoor, the same brand has bigger knives that are better suited for the task.

Overall a positive view, serious bang for the buck.

Comments:

I recently purchased a Spyderco Gayle Bradley folder. Upon opening the box, I first noticed the weight. This is a SOLID knife. The frame is composed of thick non skeletonized steel. I could drive nails through a 2x4 with this thing. The scales are a really sharp carbon fiber and offer a refined look to the rugged knife. Then I opened the blade. The hollow ground cpm M4 only has to look at what you intend to cut, and the intended subject slices cleanly in half. The feel in great in my hand. This is important to me in a knife because I have big hands. The only complaint I have in the knife is that the spyderhole is recessed behind the scales to prevent accidental opening. It makes it a little difficult to open. But it's like picking at a diamond. I would feel confidant chopping through a solid oak door with this knife. If you work for a living and you need a knife that will take abuse, this is a good buy. I'm pretty sure I'll lose this knife before I break it.
