The Gerber Ghostrike is designed to be a small self-defense knife that can do some edc tasks. I really was impressed with the build quality and knife design. The sheath is one of the best on the market for that size a knife. The ergonomics were not very impressive though. Good for EDC and self-defense, but good for wilderness use.

The Mora Outdoor Camp Axe is Mora Knives first plunge in to larger outdoor tools and they have done a great job. Producing an axe that is lightweight with a good steel that holds its edge better then other axes in its price range. The sheath is lacking in carry options, but other then that it is one great axe to have with you!

S30V blade. I prefer Axis over liner lock, but this is the smoothest opening knife I've ever seen. Benchmade bronze bushings feel amazing. G10 handle looks and feels awesome. Great knife. One of my favorite Bob Lum designs. Built for heavy use, but too pretty for me to beat the crap out of. This is a great knife to pass on to children and grandchildren.

The ultimate value for an everyday carry, hard use, American made knife. Nothing pretty about it. 154 CM is a very good steel. Axis lock is great. Ideal size. Handle feels cheap, but solid. The plastic handle reduces weight so carry isn't as noticeable. Great knife. Made for heavy use and I've put mine to the test. Whenever a coworker asks my opinion for a great workhorse knife, Griptillian is always among those I mention.

154 CM blade. Pretty good steel. Will hold an edge pretty well. Very light and can't notice it when carrying. Great knife for light duty EDC. Does not have full length liners for maximum support. Not made to be a heavy duty use knife. Axis lock is awesome. Very good blade if purchased for a lightweight every day blade that won't be abused.

Very nice S30V blade. An ideal "gentlemen's folder". High quality handle materials. Not good for, or intended for, hard use. Quality leather pouch. Nak-lock is a modified liner lock. My only negative with the knife. The Axis lock is a much better option. Overall, a great knife that can make anyone look classy. Even a dirtbag, like me.

Great American made steel. Purchased for a work knife. Perfect for that purpose. After a couple years of reliable service, it now resides in my wife's purse. Replaced it with a Griptillian for my work blade. The two are in completely different leagues, but the Native was intended to be a relatively inexpensive knife with a quality blade. No complaints. Cheap handle, rough opening action, lightweight, surprisingly sturdy, with an excellent blade. Good work knife.

The SCHF26 is an amazing bang for your buck. The Knife is 0.23 inches thick and has a full tang making it very tough. The handles are kraton and comfortable for a knife of this size. The steel is 8cr13mov which is a budget steel but it has held a good edge and has held up to all the chopping and batoning. The sheath is not designed well and is made out of cheap nylon, but for the price you can't complain. This is a great do everything knife when you are on a budget.

The Mora Bushcraft Black aka BB, is in my mind one of the best ways you can spend your money when you are looking for a lightweight camp/bush knife. It is built well with good materials, and has a great handle for long cutting tasks and a perfect blade design for bushcraft tasks.

This knife is ok to keep as a backup such as keeping it in the car as a seat belt cutter but the steel is too soft use this knife as an EDC knife unless you really enjoy sharpening a knife literally several times a day. I have two of these and as a simple test I put a razors edge on one of them and used it to quarter a chicken for supper. After quartering one chicken the knife was dull beyond all usefulness except for the serrated section of the blade. I resharpened it and used it to cut my chicken after roasting it and dull once again. I have tried several other cutting task with it with the same results, it simply dulls too quickly to be a useful daily carry knife. However the sheath is fairly nice and the ergonomics are awesome. This knife feels better in the hand than any other folder I have ever owned but it just doesn't appear to be stout at all.

Cold Steel TI Lite 6

Referring to the last review of this knife - firstly, Ti-Lite 6 is created for SELF DEFENSE purposes! In my opinion - this is one of the best knives in this class!
I have Ti-lite 4 and you can see my comments here - it was a great disappointment, but the 6 inch version made for a nice surprise - stronger and better as a whole!
Yes, the liner lock is fragile if you want to do heavy duty work, but remember - this knife is created mainly for self defense! However it can be used as tool too - I have a friend who uses this for gathering medicinal plants for home use - according to his words - the knife is very long so this saves having to bend down during the plants cutting. Especially if you have longer arms.
The handle is perfect - narrow, long, so the knife can be used like mini mace or kubotan or jawara. So if you are fan of Japanese kobudo martial arts - this is the knife for you. Much more comfortable and better than carrying a kubotan or tactical pen for me. Carrying an extendable baton is very good, but it weighs too much and for me is too unconformable. The Ti-lite 6 can be an acceptable alternative.
The blade is long, narrow with a needle sharp tip - perfect for stabbing. The opening is really surprisingly fast with your thumb or the wave for a knife this size - no problems at all! The locking is definitely much more better that 4 inch version.
