Despite the stereotypes, there is absolutely nothing polite, friendly, or good natured about being on the business end of this knife (get it?...a Canadian "joke" ;-) ) This knife is stubby but built to impress. I use it for everything camping, outdoors, and hunting. I have field dressed game with it and whittled sticks down to the pulp with it. It has always served me well, always sharpens right up after hard use, and looks almost as good as the day I got it with the exception of a few scratches and scuffs here and there (I've had it for quite a while). Love it and highly recommend it. Bark River has long been my fixed blade of choice and I don't see that changing any time soon.
