Comments:
I've tried to find suitable boot knife for my needs and I finally found it. I've tried Daggert 2 and Glock M81 but they just didn't feel comfortable as boot knives.
Colts 8 5/8" Boot knife fits right in (shorter, 7" version available). Feels quite comfortable in hand. The handle is very heavily lacquered wood handle which I find to feel a bit plasticy rather than woody.
Blade is very sharp out of the box. It's double edged and full tang.
Some sites tells this is also a throwing knife but that is really not the case. Knife is balanced backwards quite a bit so throwing this would result very erratic spin.
I really like this knife because it's small enough to fit into a boot, it's not too daggery for it not to work on wood. Excellent value for money.
