I went to go visit some extened family of mine in Belize (Central America), while there I needed a native Machete souvenir for my Father. The Machetes they sold had a custom handmade carved thick leather sheath and the Machetes where made out of Ceramic steel. They are really hard to sharpen, but they don't rust that easly. Very humid in the Jungle at Banana River. The Condor Kukri Machete is closest thing that is better quality than the Machetes in Belize.
