Right off the bat, I have to say that I love the edge on this knife -- mirror-polished

Comments:

the knife is a overall great value its cheaper than most moras but the knife was not evenly ground. it was not off much but enough to notice it. the handle is very comfortable but the guard could use some redesigning. it has a 90 degree spine so it strikes a ferro rod and can make fine wood shavings. the knife does not hold its edge very well so prepare to sharpen often. it also has a slight secondary bevel.

The Timberjack is a great option if you are looking for a mora substitute. It is about $4 dollars more, but it has a lot to offer. For under $20 it is a great blade for camp/bushcraft tasks.

very nice review but this knife is cheaper than most moras where did you buy yours. I also would not a advise batoning with that knife as it is not made for it and will eventually fail it is made to be used like a knife not a axe.
