Have been looking at these knives for a while. I have been a sog and cold steel man most of my life and was hard pressed to find a better edc knive than my cold steel AK47 or SOG vulcan. But i think so far we have a winner. Have carried it for a little over three weeks now and it has yet to loosen up. Have had to sharpen it twice but that is not bad for working in construction in Alaska and abusing it on almost a daily basis. I have had this style blade before and it takes some getting used to when sharpening. Also i was somewhat disappointed in the finish work. The screws along the handle were all slightly loose and were proud of the g10 scales. Once I tightened them they were better but still proud at different depths. does not bother me to much but if your anal this might be a deal breaker. Overall i would recommend this knife as a tough medium size folder. I'll give it a few years and see how it holds up. My Cold Steel AK47 lasted 6 years and then was handed down and is still used and still takes a razor sharp edge. Blade has loosened up and that's why I retired it.

I have the 350TS model and I have to say this is HANDS DOWN my favorite knife. It's super comfortable to handle, looks great, and is a built like a tank. Great steel for the blade, deploys faster than any auto I've seen, and I LOVE the tiger stripe look, too.

The G10 texturing feels super grippy without being overly abrasive. The attention to detail on this knife is superb, too.

One little detail that I really like is the fact that there is no jimping on the lock release. Just smooth and easy!

I am now a HUGE fan of the ZT line.

This is my FIRST ZT, but will NOT be my last!!!

After reading the other reviews I wonder if mine is a fake? Ergos are great, snaps open quickly, but locking mech is terrible, slight preasure on back of knife and it fails. Also the blade it self doesn't seem to hold an edge at all. I put it to hard use, but it dulls rapidly. I'm going to send it back to the factory as I think the locking mech is defective. I've had gerbers, crk, spyder co's, and benchmade's and all were superior.

I had the same problem with one of their folders and I sent it back to Zero Tolerance and they actually replaced the knife at no cost.

Yeah it must be defective I have never had a problem. While I don't do cutting with it everyday but the edge has never been a problem except that sharpening it can be tricky.

I have to give this knife 10s all the way it is the 2nd best folder I own or have used the first being a ZT650st. I bought this one to carry when I am going places that I may scare people with the big auto 650. This is a beast of a knife and can take anything you want to throw at it. The ergos are top notch with jimping where you need in and none where you don't it fits the hand in any grip from delicate cutting choked up to self-defense draw grip. The s30v hold a razors edge forever I have cut cardboard, cordage, meat, and veggies darn near everything and it just stays sharp. I find that just the size and sound of this knife locking up is reminiscent of crocodile Dundee "that's not a knife". LoL If you are looking for a strong sharp and easy to carry tactical folder I would look very hard at this one. It is my personal opinion that the ZT folders are one of if not the best value in the knife world today.

I gave this ZT 0350 a 9 in build quality only because the finish work on the G10 and Stainless liners was not perfect meaning you can see "steps" where who ever did the finish work didn't get it quite as smooth as possible. It's a minor flaw that you have to look for and I'm sure it's probably an anomaly but it's there. Other than that this knife is sexy and curvy and it's as strong as it's reputation says it is. The liner lock is rock solid with a nice chunk of metal [it's thick] holding that blade back. As far as the assisted opening, it's quick and impressively Loud! This blade will intimidate just by the sound if deployed in the office or in the general public.....but that's one of many reasons why I like it.The S30V steel is,in my opinion, really easy to maintain and holds a hair-popping edge quite well even after hard use.The jimping is well thought out, easy on the fingers and the G10 scales have a nice gentle texture to them. I also appreciate how thin the entire knife profile is when in my pocket. In closing I have no complaints except the minor cosmetic flaw and I would be really bummed if I lost this blade.

I have had this knife for several months and even EDC it for some time. First impressions of this knife are simply, wow. The one I purchased was completely flawless in fit and finish and needed no pivot adjustment as all too many knives do out of the box. This knife is built for hard use that is for sure, right down to the shape of the blade. The blade lakes a little in small hole piercing ability due to its large belly but with that great belly on that blade comes exceptional strength so there is little worry of snapping off the tip. The blade, made of S30V steel holds an exceptional edge for a long period of time even under tough use. I have cut several different objects running the blade across large staples and other hard objects and have yet to scratch the black coating on the blade. The open assisted blade can be opened with either the dual thumb studs or the dorsal fin on the back of the blade. There is slightly more room between the handle and the thumb stud for right hand opening than there is for the left making left hand opening a little more difficult via the thumb stud5 but it is rendered mute by the dorsal fin which can be used equally right or left handed, bare handed or gloved.

The clip can be positioned right, left, tip up or tip down adding great versatility to this knife and is of excellent quality.

The gimping on the butt of the handle and along the back of the handle are the most useful I have ever encountered on any knife allowing for excellent traction without gouging your hand. The gimping works very well with our without gloves.

The G10 scales, much like the gimping allow for great traction, wet or dry without gouging your hand, and again work very well with or without gloves. The handle has, in my opinion, excellent ergonomics. I have very large hands and this knife fits my hand very well and does not gouge me even while cutting heavy material.

In my opinion this would make a great EDC knife for just about anyone. I EDC a Spyderco but that knife just fits my particular needs a little better but if the ZT was all I had it is more than capable of performing the tasks I do daily I simply prefer a non open assisted blade at work since I work around a lot of kids and open assist spooks or gives them the wow factor.

All in all I can find no weakness in this knife other than some may find it a little heavy especially while wearing slacks or other pants with thin material. This knife is truly a great challenger to all top quality folders.
