I hate to say it, but from an aesthetic perspective the ZT 0400 is kind of the runt of the litter. However it more than makes up for its quirky look by the way it functions. The cutting edge geometry is really interesting in that it is concave and the tanto almost gives it a recurve characteristic, although it really isn't technically a recurve blade. The entire grinding pattern is really complex as it has a false edge on the top too. The handle provides tons and tons of grip and you can really dig your hand into it to keep it steady. I have a feeling this knife is a love it or hate it kind of blade, but I am one of the ones who loves it.
