This blade was given to me as a gift, the balance is perfect for me. it is very sharp, and hold an edge amazingly well. I have used this in Afghanistan on assignment, and it has not let me down. the only concern is the sheath. the thick leather is great, but the silk panlen lends toward distruction in a hostile envoroment. I placed cardboard overit and taped the it to the sheath after it started to come apart.
Dont get me wrong I love this blade. I have purchased tow since I was given this one. My girlfriend claimed one as her own quick. she loves it more than I do. but its not a girly knife its seriouse steel. that I has not let me down when the situation gets real.
